The Yarrawonga Hotel, Yarrawonga

The hotel's location was fantastic, right in the center of Yarrawonga, making it easy to explore the town with everything within walking distance. The rooms, though named after Melbourne Cup horses, were unfortunately situated close to the back of the property next to the noisy machinery room of the pub, affecting the sleep quality during the stay. The service was excellent, with great assistance from the friendly and cooperative staff who made the overall experience special.

The hotel's location was fabulous for the Yarrawonga Foreshore event and offered an amazing view. The rooms, though made up daily, were affected by noise from an aircon unit nearby. The service was exceptional, with staff showing us personally to our room and explaining menu choices at the fabulous restaurant. Despite being a bit noisy, the aircon unit was a minor downside for the otherwise value-for-money stay.

The hotel had very comfortable rooms with a handy kitchenette, but the noisy plant outside affected sleep quality. The location was wonderful, right in the middle of everything with a fabulous view. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient, but there were minor issues with communication. The dining options were not supplied but would be a great addition. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service in a great location.
